India has witnessed significant advancements in its science and technology landscape over the past 24 hours, marked by the commencement of the 11th India International Science Festival (IISF) 2025 in Panchkula, Haryana. Union Minister Jitendra Singh highlighted India's global rise in innovation, while astronaut Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla shared his experiences from the International Space Station and discussed future opportunities in space. Concurrently, the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) handed over crucial indigenous technologies to the armed forces and approved new projects to bolster self-reliance in defence.
