India's Quantum Leap: Indigenous Microscope and Computing Breakthroughs Lead Latest S&T Updates

India has marked significant advancements in science and technology over the past 24 hours, primarily driven by breakthroughs in quantum technology. IIT Bombay unveiled India's first indigenous Quantum Diamond Microscope, capable of advanced magnetic imaging. Simultaneously, two Bengaluru-based startups announced the development of a 64-qubit quantum processor and India's first large-scale quantum key distribution network. Beyond quantum, India is deepening cooperation with Mauritius in ocean technologies and is pushing for a self-reliant hydrogen economy with new "Hydrogen Valleys."
