An Indian Air Force (IAF) Tejas light combat aircraft tragically crashed during an aerial display at the Dubai Airshow 2025, resulting in the death of Wing Commander Namansh Syal. The incident occurred as the aircraft was attempting a low-level maneuver. This marks the second crash involving the indigenous fighter jet, with a previous non-fatal incident reported in Jaisalmer in March 2024 where the pilot ejected safely. The IAF has initiated a court of inquiry to determine the cause of the accident. Defence experts are currently analyzing possible causes behind the crash.
